Sweating is a good form of detoxing

IAS News 26 July 2013 | 1 Comment

Back in 2011 – which may seem a while ago now but isn’t that long really – a study showed that sweating is a good way of removing toxins from the body, going against many other thoughts that actually it doesn’t do a lot of good at all. The study looked at blood, urine and sweat and took measurements of the amounts of toxic elements that could be found. In fact it was about 120 elements that were looked at, some of which were considered toxic to the body. From what the study found it was seen that some of these heavily toxic elements ‘preferred’ to be removed from the body via the sweating mechanism.
IAS has long pioneered detoxing and chelating as methods of removing heavy metals and toxins from the body. For this reason we have worked closely with Dr Garry Gordon who is seen to be the Father of Chelation, and is well known for his use of ‘alternative medicine’. We have a wide variety of products including Beyond Chelation Improved which contains capsules of several of the best ways of chelating, including Essential Daily Defense, Beyond Any Multiple which contains Resveratrol, Primrose Oil which contains high levels of omega-6 fatty acids, Omega-3 helpful for both heart disease and arthritis, and Ginkgo Bilboa which improves blood flow and brain function. Another product that would be useful is Detox Pro which can help particularly with mercury removal.
Our most recent addition is Beyond Clean with added Zeolite. This should be added to your bath, and also contains EDTA. Both, Zeolite and EDTA draw out the heavy metals from the skin, and helps reduce the levels of free radical activity during exposure to UV, which in turn helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. This is shown by the increased amount of time which one can be exposed to the sun after using the treatment. We do always recommend using a good sunscreen when out in the sun to further avoid any risk of skin cancer.
By employing a good detox program at regular intervals should hopefully reduce the amount of heavy metals and body toxins and help you feel more healthy.
